Every now and then, new measurements are taken of the population so that generational changes can be made to clothing sizes. The last one I can recall was perhaps 10+ years ago and the one before that was done in 1925. Perhaps there needs to be another? From memory, I think Australians were, on average, shorter and had wider hips than the English and Americans. It was suggested that the food we eat has some influence on these trends. In any case, it would be nice to get clothes that fit!
