I made this quilt simply because it makes me happy...I smile every time I see it. I bought this panel at my LQS. Then I bought the newspaper print to kind of go with the whole novelty theme.
You can see some of the articles in the close up shots...."Woman uses Husband as live pin cushion"..LOL ( I would never do that)
In the fabrics there are all sorts of sayings like: you had me at Merlot-> Yooooohooooo has anyone seen my sanity anywhere? -> Or TGIF ---Thank God I'm Fabulous! LOL. I just crack up every time I see it! There are tons! I am sure there are some that apply to every woman.
I kept the quilting designs fun and simple.....because really the fabrics need to shine through....that's the whole reason I made the quilt. I think all of my friends need one like this!
My Favorite saying on the panel is the one turned sideways in the picture it says: Gardening, Yoga, bubble baths & medications ....and I still want to smack sombody. LOL
