At the meeting, during program, we had each quilter tell about what she/he had done and share the story behind their quilt. It was so interesting to hear how people decided on what to do. Some were like me, they just made a quilt, but many had wonderful stories to share. The family is His on one side and Hers on other and at the bottom are their children; The next one was "Things I love about KSU"; The Log Cabin done in purples and white with school emblems; paper pieced fans in purples; Roads to KSU--in the middle is the emblem of Kansas State University; Mine --a QAYG not very imaginative; Apron--done by a most creative quilter who does lots of garments as well as regular quilts; And the last one is the university's main library "Hale Library" . There are 150 window panes on the front side of the library--each pane is a different purple.
Lovely quilts! My favorite color!
