I also have the 12000 with horizon link. You can quilt with the hoops it came with, but, once you gat the accufil hoop you won't look back. It is so easy to hoop your quilt with the magnets instead of trying to put the regular hoop together. I made a quilt without the accufil hoop and several since with it. There is no comparison.
