I've been sewing for 41 yrs. and am thinking of making my own fabric ties for the fabric baskets instead of using ribbon, mainly because I don't want to buy all kinds of different colors of ribbon. Wonder if any of you have any helpful hints in sewing narrow pieces. I'll probably sew mine 1/2 to 1" wide finished. May even have a rounded end to them and the bags also. Thx for any suggestions.
