I did, however, order the book "Civil War Love Letters" which looks to me like an easier version on the Dear Jane idea.
The thing is, I want to be a part of a BIG group who is all doing the same thing at the same time! Plus, Marinemom's idea about changing the date triangle to the date of my husband's 2009-2010 deployment is such a good one! If this quilt top takes 18 months to finish, he will return home and it will STILL be a UFO! Crazy. hehehehe
i have you on the list. i did notice that you were posting about the civil ware letters quilt.
you're more than welcome to be apart of this group and work on both projects if you want.
there's many others who will be working on a couple things at the same time and its ok if you fall behind - just work at your pace.
there's always that 1 week off every 6 weeks to get caught up.
