Hot Air Balloon pieced by Donna
Fall is a time for not only beautiful leaves, but also hot air balloons. Just have to show Donna's quilt that she pieced using hot air balloon fabric that she set behind black sashing so it looks like we are viewing the balloons through a window. Donna mailed her top to me for quilting and just asked that I quilt whatever I wanted on it. (I keep telling those who say "whatever" that is very dangerous - it's no telling what they might receive back) I quilted swirls in the sky behind the balloons, grass in the green behind the balloons, simple serpentine over the seams around the window and on the piano key border
