Greetings from Central Florida
I found out about this forum from a knitting forum I subscribe to. I was very happy to get the info as I have recently gotten back into quilting and wanted to see what is going on in the quilting world.
I had made my son a Log Cabin quilt in 1996 and used the wrong fabric (poly/cotton blend) on one of the colors as I could not find the shade I wanted in cotton. The fabric disintegrated and my son asked me 2 months ago if I thought I could fix it. I said sure, no problem; as I was working on it I remembered how much I used to love to quilt. Quilting, at the time, was like therapy to me and helped me get through a really rough time in my life.
Anyway, with renewed spirit, I am back into it and loving it! I would like to post a pictures of before repair and after repair, but it didn't seem to download.
