I enjoyed reading your wonderful story about the quilt you made and its recipient and some of the Polish history in your area. What's kind of cool about your story of that particular quilt is how you had a certain attachment to it and one being a little more difficult to part with initially. It seems there was some fate at work in bringing this lady into your church building so that you could connect with her on an emotional and compassionate level thus making it a joyous occasion for you to give that quilt away. You know it will always be well loved and used. Its always a great moment in life when you can touch people with true compassion and love as you did with her. She will never forget that moment in time and neither will you. God bless you always.
P.S. My husband and I visited Poland in May this year and loved our visit there! Had a great time.
