Hi everyone, especially Steve H. Steve helped me out on my most recent project by making a pair of slideplates for an antique fiddle base machine I restored. He did a fantastic job. I wanted to share the pictures in the "Can This Machine Be Rescued?" thread. I just posted them here~
http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...216857-18.html I wasn't able to get the machine polished up as much as I would have liked because the clear coat had oxidized to the point that if I had polished it up, it would have no decals left on it at all. I am happy to say that I had almost zero loss of the decals of what was left on it to start with.
