Cool "Zinger," a Scrappy Qtr. Log Cabin

This was convenient to do since all the strips came from the scrap bag! Nothing needed to match up at all even when joining blocks, I paid no particular attention to how they met. Will be adding the top and bottom borders once I get the sides straightened out, lol. The grass is bumpy and it was windy so I didn't get the quilt straightened out very well, but I got a pic!

It's a great way to use up long skinny strips! I believe it's the narrow strips mixed with the wider ones that make it interesting. Most strips are no wider than 1.5" and blocks are squared to 9".

Here's a pic of a Hexie Mug Rug. Someone gave me a small stack of vintage hexies and squares so I started this off with one of them.

I also made a Mug Rug that will be used as a potholder minus the loop. Thanks for looking!
