I like the folded star ornament. I think it can be made on a flat surface, too, but it looks so difficult, but really isn't.
The folded star ornament takes a little time, but is well worth the effort. I have made many of them. All you need is a 3" styrofoam ball and 2 1/2" squares. Oh, of course, a big box of straight pins. )
