Default Hubs discard is my good fortune

Many years ago my husband (aka the hubs) got a new (to him)
Nikon D70s camera. So he had these thoughts of doing lots of
photography and decided he wanted to do some macro (close up)
photos so he set out to "create" a homemade version of a lighting
set up.

Lots of internet research lead to him Joann's to purchase the
largest wood quilting hoops they carried (23"). After a while
he lost interest in all that so the hoops just hung on a large
hook on the balcony for several years.

A little over a week ago we was given notice that EVERY thing on
our balconies (and every other resident here) had to be removed
so they could scrape, power wash and paint the exterior of all the
south and east facing sides.

We are now in the process of finally getting to move everything
back out to the balcony and my hubs decided he didn't want the
quilting hoops anymore.

So I nabbed them up for my own. Since I don't hand quilt, I decided
that I was going to make some machine embroidery designs and frame
them in the hoops.

One design I KNOW that I want to do is the Four Seasons. Now I
want to think about what other designs I want to make and put into
these hoops. I have a total of 4 hoops.

But in the mean time Kiko (now the oldest fur kid I have) decided she
wanted a hoop too.
