The iodine post reminded me of something my husband and I were just discussing a week or so ago. Remember having to wait 30 minutes after eating before being allowed to swim?? I think about that now and just shake my head, wondering how that old wives tale got started. I asked my mom what they were thinking back then. She just shrugged and said they thought they were being good moms and dads. Lol.
