I wanted to be the first female hiway patrol officer for Ne but they hired a lady right before I submitted my application' much to my parents disappointment I was the first one to wear makeup and earrrings it was a very strict church at the time. I was the first female prision officer to work on the floor in a prision where the men were not behind bars I walked among the prisioners if they so desired they could of hurt me at any time The first time I drove truck was in the 70's at that time there were very few female truckdrivers When my girls were young and there was no such thing as toe rings I made some and my girls and I wore them everywhere My daughter was the first grandchild to graduate college she later went back and got a second degree I was the first in family to have enough guts to dye my hair since then I have had everycolor in the rainbow plus the normal colors all my life I strived to be diffrent or first
