NeedlenThread.com has a tutorial on twilling. It is also called palestrina stitch I believe. I saw a demonstration on twilling at a quilt show I attended a few weeks ago and it interested me too. One of the quilts was done in twilling, simple designs but a beautiful piece of art. Believe I will have to try it now that the weather is turning cooler.
Thank you ever so much DixieDoodle, I visited this website and found the tutorial right away. I plan on visiting it often for other stitches she offered, it has been since I was a small child since I have done very much of this kind of needlework that my mother taught to me. This is going to be easy to carry along with me to doctor visits waiting rooms.
