I would say no. I had one, added the long poles to do a big quilt, and felt that the frame was too unwieldy to handle. Also you need to be able to move the frame all the way in both directions, so it takes up a lot of space. (If the poles are 8' long, you need a room that's 16' long, and you can only do a quilt that's around 90".) I think the frame works fine for small quilts, but I didn't need a frame for small quilts. So my advice is to save your money. If you want to quilt large quilts on your DSM, try quilting in sections instead.
