It's my first time using the phone book pages and it's working great! I made my stitches smaller than usual, and it perforated the paper so that it can be removed easily! The paper is thin, so it tears very easily. I know some people leave the paper in the quilt and let it dissolve in the wash when done. But, I decided to remove it before quilting due to the concern you expressed about the black ink and light colored fabrics. There is no ink on the quilt using this method. I learned about the phone book pages from the Quilting Board too. A wealth of knowledge!
