They all know I quilt, and I'm truly an amateur, but instead of restaurant gift cards I thought I'd like to make something, but I don't want to do something cheesy. Open to any and all suggestions.
One year, I bought fabric that had squares of Christmas themes, different scenes. I layered the whole piece of fabric on some batting (you could use felt), stitched around it, added some gold glitter and used them as a Christmas tag. I added a piece of yarn or gold edging in a loop to hang on their Christmas tree. To and From was written with a fine line permanent pen. Nice personal touch.
