Darn it, I can't get it to add Jan's quote too, but yes, I was thinking the exact same thing. Anybody have any pics of quilts with chevron borders to share?
I like chevrons in theory, but have only used very small and fairly subtle chevron prints because I worry anything larger would mess up the look of the piecing. But a large chevron print WOULD be good for backing as Jan suggested, I like that idea too.
