Not sure about that machine/treadle combo, but my Victorian Singer industrial treadle has a 16" drive wheel and the Singer 13 leather stitching machine has a 2.5" pulley, so it really boogies. My Victorian Wheeler & Wilson industrial treadle has a 15" wheel that has two different diameter pulley grooves (as does the Wheeler Wilson #10 machine) so that you can run it "fast" or run it "powerful"
With that said our 1943 241-12 motor driven beast will sew through anything we've tried (including 16 layers of paper for bookbinding projects) and it is stupid fast.
