Pam, those are amazing!!!! Not only have you almost met your goal but you did it with patterns that are not the easiest. I am so impressed and inspired. My goal is to do at least 12 quilts this coming year and I hope mine turn out at least half as good as yours. Kudos! (And how do I get on your Christmas list?)
If you are interested in learning more about borders, I
highly recommend Marsha McCloskey's book "
Pieced Borders: The Complete Resource" and Sally Collin's book "
Borders, Bindings, & Edges." I can't begin to tell you how much those books have changed the way I do my borders. My borders used to be boring and were something I just couldn't seem to wrap my mind around until my friend loaned me those 2 books. I'll post the link to their websites, in case you are interested.
