Very good tutorial - thank you. I hadn't thought of angling the pins - my experience was pushing them straight in (or thumb tacks) but it leaves holes in the foam board and then nothing will stick in the holes any more. I'll try slanting. I did make a small one and used felt covering and the block stuck to the felt by itself, but it wasn't a very complicated or heavy block. Thank you again for your tutorial. :-)
