Thanks JeanieG, I have the added advantage of not having a husband to look after for a week at a time
he will be home tomorrow and then my sewing time is seriously curbed..at least for a week
I spoke to the LA'er tonight and she can't baste my quilt, don't get her reasoning, she said the longest her stitch length is 7 sts to the inch. I didn't like to tell her she has to take it out of the computer mode and baste is freehand. I have basted a quilt before at the LQS and she has the same machine. I just don't have time to spend at the LQS. Won't get to it till the weekend I have a busy three days ahead of me.
