I got it layered last night. Yay! One step closer. I didn't realize how thin the batting was until I was in the midst of it. Really thin. Bummer. So, yes I think I may be taking your advice and only quilting around the blocks every six inches or so.

Thanks SO much everyone for all your compliments. We work so hard on these things and put so much of ourselves into them - it warms the heart when people are so kind and affirming!
