Default Extra hand (Gizmo) for separating chain pieced segments..
II was considering buying a Gizmo but just discovered the thread cutter on the side of my sewing machine and that's what I use to cut apart my chain-pieced four patches. I actually never use it for cutting thread when sewing because I have an auto cut button on my machine and it didn't cost anything extra. And here I've been sniping them apart with scissors. duh

GizmoThe Gizmo is the extra hand you always need when separating chain-pieced segments of your quilt tops.
