I prefer sewing in BSR1 because it stops when I take my foot off the pedal. In BSR2 it keeps sewing if the quilt is moved. BSR2 almost gave me a heart attack once when I broke a needle. I am used to moving my work out of the way to change a needle and the broken needle punched through my sandwich several times before I realized what was happening.
Some people love BSR2 but not me. I guess I am too set in my ways. BSR2 seems to give me one large stitch also between stopping and starting again.
