I just made a couple of these and I was wondering how you do the bottom of the mat for finishing. I am kind of new to quilting and know there must be an easier step then dresdens on the bottom too. Thank you so much for your help. Nancy
When I made them, I made the back one solid piece of muslin....no hole cut in it at all...just put the bat on
bottom, backing right side up next and then top piece right side down, sewed around,left an opening...turned,
sewed circle in middle, then sewed in a quarter of an inch on each petal .
