Years ago when I had a male toy poodle, the groomers just cut a square of fabric folded in half and tied around his neck leaving short tails about an inch, if too long they could try to get it into their mouth and maybe get caught on their teeth. That may not end too well. I saved one and have it on a little wooden rocking horse.
