This one is on my bucket list. Been staring at the pattern & wondering the same thing of expanding it. Dunster, I like your idea, but I've also seen one that basically was put together by making 5 of the original pattern & just adding another star on either side of the center one. I think you solved my curiosity & can move forward to creating it! Thanks for the thread & question!
