Double Batting??
I've noticed on my lap quilts that when the temps get down low, 20s on down, the lap quilt isn't quite as warm and toasty as maybe an afghan. I'm just curious if putting two layers of batting would make it warmer, or is that just asking for trouble with your machine while trying to do FMQ?
