I think we have all been there at one time or another. Quilting is what we do for enjoyment so I wouldn't want to force yourself to do it. Since it is the holiday season, maybe this is the time to take your sewing machine in for it's yearly servicing. Do the things that the holiday season demands of us all such as cleaning, cooking and shopping. When the new year starts, look at some of your patterns and go to your LQS, pet some of the fabric, as Paper Princess suggested and see if your inspired to start quilting.
