after my favorite lqs closed it took me a year to walk in to another shop. then i found i had little or no interest in quilting for a while, everything i was working on was a pain in the rear. so i stepped back, and started other things, knitting, wool felt and coloring mandalas,and zentangles... the thing that keeps me going now is the doll quilt swap. with our busy lives, having someone give me a theme, a small size to work with and a deadline is what i need. you will find something, it may be quilting or maybe it will be something else.
