This looks like a trip around the world in the center but instead of squares, they are rectangles.
Also the border to me is impressive. This is a quilt I have and was hand-made by my DH great grandmother Higby in 1912.
Any help would be appreciated.
The first quilt looks like it is just careful placement of alternating four patches and half square triangles. The second one looks like the Eleanor Burns "trip around the world" pattern. Hers has rectangles instead of squares, but the border looks like a personal design.
