I have to agree, and I think I may be within a couple of machines from reaching that. My wife and I have 46 of our 61machines inside of our small 3-bedroom frame house. That’s just the head count. There’s also 7 electric cabinets (including a large Singer #430), 6 treadles (2 are industrials), 2 industrial power stands, and 1 Singer folding table.
Of course, we turned our living/dining room area into our sewing room back in 2010, so that helped. And, we have at least one sewing machine in every room of the house except the tiny kitchen. Both bathrooms have sewing machines in them, including a matching Singer cabinet and stool in one.
Yea. I have both an addiction and a collection, but it sure has been fun!
But, to my credit, there are two auctions nearby today that have multiple sewing machines listed in them, and I’m not going to either one of them. (At least, I’m not planning to.....)
