One thing my husband has done. Since dogs (some) like to dig, he attached chicken wire to the bottom of the fences and used tie-downs like tent stakes to hold the wire down. then he attached the other part to the fence. You can't see it because he let the grass grow around it. The fences don't belong to us but we're the ones holding them up. Gotta watch some utilitiy guys too. One let our dog out and he was killed 2 miles away. Went up the off ramp and hit by car, killed instantly. Buddy had not been out of the back yard for 12 years. he was deaf. Vet said he probably took off after smelling my car and tried to follow.
