Judy, that is really great to know, especially the part about the flannel backed satin and how it holds up! Thanks!

I should have clarified that I make my own cotton bindings all the time and have no troubles with that or with mitered corners. And I can apply the Wrights Satin binding okay, not great but okay.
The only satin binding tutorials that I could find where for premade bindings like Wrights. I just wondered how slippery it was to make your own and whether the attempt makes you snatch yourself bald.
