finished it today...it took about a week I think with the applique blocks taking the longest. I did them on the machine..so it was quicker than by hand. Yes, I love the colors too..they did a great job with this kit. Oh...and the corded border is an illusion! It is a striped fabric that they said to cut on the bias. This is how it finished up...so yes, I really liked that idea! Thank you all for the compliments! :D
