A while back I posted a thread about a quilt not speaking to me. (
http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...e-t227181.html ) I had a sample of the quilt made up using batiks so I could test out the pattern and the quilting pattern before I did the big one (tis a gift for best friend).
I spoke with several people on that thread, and even spoke with FelineFanatic (hope I got that right) in pm's about what to quilt on it.
Well it finally spoke to me. I incorporated some of feline's ideas, and some of my own. It is still in progress, but thought I would share some of the work with you all.
I opted for piano keys on the small borders, a feather design (getting much better at those) on big border, then I did a cathedral window curved crosshatching on the center of the big border, and a V-like shape of curved crosshatching on the corner. Yes I know the corner shapes are off
forgot to measure when I mitered, will fix it when I trim up and border it, will just make it curved corners
