Pattern looks like chair cushions I am making. Lots of lovely squares sewn together then cut into shape. Use cut away pieces on back with other material to make it reversible. You can also use leftover material for binding and leave the back a solid color. If you make a design, say a star just make sure it is centered before you cut.
