She promptly called her contact person at The Warm Company, and she was told that scrim is a "foundation", and no, there is NO foundation in the Warm Tater, thus NO Scrim, and NO risk of it being flammable in the microwave. Now my question: Does anybody KNOW whether there is a risk of flammability if you make a bowl out of fabric that has the beautiful "metallic" threads and colorings in it?????
Metallic threads and a microwave may not mix well... kinda like putting foil in a microwave.
