Work has been crazy. Just checked in and wanted to answer questions. They are 8 inch blocks (finished) and the phone book paper was slightly tougher to pull out because it ripped a lot but it was free. I may try scrap paper that is thrown out in recycle bin at work when I make my next string or scrap quilt.
