Great find and I am sure she would be so pleased to know another quilter got them. I believe what you have might be her scrap saving system. I cut down leftovers into usable sized pieces. I have 2" and 3" strips and squares and tons of HST in two different sizes made for my someday scrap quilt all stored in plastic bags like that. I have a scrappy LC that has been a work in process almost since I first started quilting. I have the logs all cut and seperated into light medium and dark bags and a few blocks already sewn together. I have scraps of batiks I use for applique. I suspect she had several different scrap quilts she planned on making. A GFG looks to be one and maybe a scrappy RF and 9P. The flower petals could have been for an applique project or maybe she planned on bordering her completed srap quilt with lovely applique flowers. Have fun with the find and make it your own.
