Nessie, I wasn't trying to cause controversy. I see you highlighted my words re: flimsy...maybe the word I was looking for was lightweight??? Anyway, I like the heavier pincushions, personally.
I didn't take it that way, at all. I responded because I once received a loosely stuffed pincushion, which is a bit flimsy; I thought that's what you meant. It's as cute as can be but is more decorative than utilitarian. Picking it up, with pins in it, is somewhat hazardous to one's fingers.
