Default My Genie Acted Up

I have a Singer 353B Genie that I cleaned up for my wife to take to quilt class. I test-sewed with it and everything seemed to work fine for me, but after she’d used it for a while at class, it went wonky on her. Evidently, I have something out of adjustment on it in the hook area.

She’s not the collector in the family. She’s the user. If a machine doesn’t do what she wants it to, she’s liable to dropkick it out onto the front lawn. (I try to do a little something around the house for her as much as I can so she doesn’t do the same thing to me.) She doesn’t have any use for the Genie unless I can get it to work for her, so it sets. I keep forgetting to take a look at it again, and that's not good. She may decide to kick us both outside.
