who's not. we all are a newbie. i remember when i was 10 years old, my dad used to fix cars. i mean from the ground up. he'll buy an old willy's jeep and put new engine and paint it. this is his hobby as he's a full time military officer. i am his right hand man when it comes to fixing cars but for some reason i never learned anything from him as far as fixing car is concern. that's one of my regrets. i'd rather play with my friends back then. but one thing he instilled in me or one thing i learned from him is his being a handyman at home. that i can do but like what steveh mentioned. google is my friend. i myself is just learning how to fix antique sewing machines. so definitely i am a new newbie. thanks guys for your patience and knowledge.
