I once found a beautiful burgundy tonal that had a flaw in it about two inches up from one selvedge. It was priced $1.00 per yard, so I bought ten yards. If you find a screaming deal on something you love, and will use, buy it! I have used the burgundy tonal in three quilts and still have over four yards left.
