I am so glad you have thought of this for your kitty. I mourn my kitty, Silvan, who died because he swallowed a needle and the vet said there was no way to save him (although the vet's practice is questionable as he waited many hours after I brought my kitty in to actually try to treat him). I cried for weeks...I still feel so guilty and sad when I think about Silvan. If I ever drop a needle or pin, I search the floor to find it before I do anything else.
