I don't feel guilty tossing scraps in a scrap bin I'll never use. I don't feel guilty of the many rulers still wrapped in plastic or the notions still in the packages that are in my sewing room. So there is no reason not to by fabric and kits that just sit on a shelf. It is my shelf.
