Great idea!! I never thought a cat would eat a pin. I guess all my hubby's worrying was right. I keep my pin cushion locked up when not in use in a drawer. If I drop one I too search immediately for it, I count how many I use and make sure that many go back. So sorry to read the sad stories of pets eating things they shouldn't. I'm glad for the ones that pulled through though. I have a cat that will search out and do anything to get at and eat used dryer sheets. My hubby does laundry and counts them like I count pins!
